Privacy Policy for the iOS App

1. Introduction

This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when using the mobile application “Doughminator” (hereinafter referred to as “App”), for what purposes it is processed, and what rights you have as a data subject.
The App is intended for users within the European Economic Area (EEA) and complies with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. What data do we process and why?

App Functions (Timers, Recipes, Workflows)
• Processed Data: Any information you actively enter, such as the number of pizzas, hydration level, or timer settings.
• Purpose: Provision of the requested features.
• Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
• Special Note: Data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to The Voenix or third parties.

Push Notifications & Live Activities
• Processed Data: Device-specific device token, time and content of notifications.
• Purpose: Sending reminders and live updates.
• Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
• Special Note: The token is only sent to the Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).

In-App Purchases / Subscriptions (StoreKit)
• Processed Data: Transaction ID, product ID, purchase/subscription date.
• Purpose: Processing of purchases and subscriptions.
• Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Special Note: Processing is carried out by Apple Inc.; The Voenix does not receive any payment data, only anonymous status information.

Error Logs (Crash Reports)
• Processed Data: Device type, iOS version, log message, timestamp.
• Purpose: Improving stability and analyzing errors.
• Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
• Special Note: Data is collected only in the event of a crash, is anonymized, and cannot be traced back to individuals.

No Tracking
The App does not use advertising IDs, cookies, or third-party analytics tools.

4. Data recipients and transfers to third countries

Apple Inc. (One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, USA) receives data exclusively for APNs and StoreKit purposes.
Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Storage period

Local usage data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app.
Push tokens are usually deleted by Apple after 30 days of inactivity.
Billing-related transaction data is stored by Apple in accordance with statutory retention periods; The Voenix does not store such data.

6. Your rights

You have the following rights at any time:
• Right of access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Right to object to certain types of processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

7. Data security

The App uses Apple’s security frameworks (e.g., Keychain, App Sandbox) and encrypted TLS connections to APNs and the App Store.
Sensitive data is never stored in plain text.

8. Minors

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. Personal data of minors is not knowingly collected.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy will be updated if the App receives new features or if legal requirements change.
